I really wanted to post this while I was at the beach a few weeks ago, but alas, here we are. It’s SUMMER and that means pool time in excess am I right?! I often get asked about my skin, like my body skin not just my face, so I thought I would share a few of my favorite things for ultimate summer glowy skin, as well as some of my favorite sun smart products.

Now, I will be the first to admit that when I was younger and dumber, I would bake in the sun for hours (shudder). My friend Ashley and I would get up at 7 am on spring break and be the first ones out there. WHAT?! Why did we do that! We were crispy critters for sure. The past 8 years or so I would say I have definitely wised up, and become much more sun smart. That being said, I still do love being outside, so I always make sure to sunscreen up.

I wish I had a secret self tanning magic weapon for you ladies, but alas I don’t use self tanner. I tend to pick up sun really easily without trying. (I know I know, you can hate me for that.) But I do have a few secret weapon products for added warmth and glow. I am OBSESSED with body oil currently. Can we all just agree that we are on a quest for Carrie Underwood legs? My current fav is this Nourishing Glow Body Oil from Hydropeptide.

I mean I could bathe in this stuff. I use it everyday on my legs for added shimmer and shine. It is infused with jojoba oil, sunflower oil, and vitamin E, giving your skin added luminosity. It has the prettiest warm glow, and teeny tiny golden shimmer specks. Take that Carrie (just kidding you still win).

I also pack Hydropeptide’s Solar Defense Tinted for my face, and Solar Defense Body for my body. The solar defense tinted is SPF 30, and I love that it has hyaluronic acid to help plump and moisturize my face. I love the body spray because it not heavy, and smells amazing, think passionfruit. Now I don’t let my husband use this, because they are my fancy sunscreens, LOL. Back off babe. 

I really value quality skin products, and have been pleased with Hydropeptide’s sun products. A+ from me. I promise you, you need the Nourishing Glow Body Oil in your life.
