Being a mom is hard, makeup doesn’t have to be! I teach busy moms how to simplify their makeup routine so they can feel beautiful in minutes. I am a wife, a mama, an award winning hair and makeup artist, and a small business owner in Lexington, KY. I don’t know who needs to hear this, but that girl you were before you were a mom, she still matters!

I also co-own Lexington’s premier bridal beauty business, Blush + Glow, with my fabulous friend and business partner Dana. In the spring of 2021 we opened Lexington’s first wine bar and boutique, The Blushery! 

I do a LOT of things. This year I am focusing on cutting back, and enjoying more time with my friends and family. I am convinced that we can all do anything we want to do with a good old fashioned to-do list (and a great babysitter.) If you love to work, but also love being a mom, we should be friends!

I married this guy

I wear many hats, and 'wife' is one of them. I met my husband when I was 17, but we didn't start dating until I was 31. we got married when I was 33. So ladies, I am here to tell you it is OK-you will not turn to dust if you haven't found the right one by 30!! I wouldn't change a thing.

He is my biggest cheerleader. He always tells other people "I just stay out of her way, and let her do it. She's got BBT (brains, beauty, talent)!"

I am also mama

My entire world changed in June of 2019, when I became a mama. My daughter Cameron is my greatest joy, and my biggest blessing. 

I want her to grow up knowing that you can truly do anything that you want to do, and her mama is proof of that. 

I want her to know that while makeup is fun, and can be empowering, true beauty is an inside job. Like they say sweet girl, pretty it as pretty does.

In the spring of 2021 my long time business partner Dana and I opened a boutique and wine bar in Lexington, KY. 

We wanted to create a space for women to gather, celebrate decompress and take a. break.
