Christmas Decor Inspo

When we bought this house two years ago, I told my husband to prepare for Griswold style Christmas decor, and it has been so fun adding to it every year! My secret is to wait and shop for big items in January (wreaths and trees) and then it is a real treat when you get to open them up the next year. And bonus, they are usually like 80% off in January!

My favorite place to get trees is Big Lots!! At Home is a close second. They have the best deals and the best selection. I got our new 7 ft. flocked tree at At Home last year for literally $40 I think, and I got Cameron’s pink tree at Big Lots this year for around $35!

Walmart and Target also have lots of great trees at a discount, I linked several that I love below!

These are a few pics from last year, and I feel like we need to pause for this tiny precious baby! How, HOW did she get so big!!

I am using this front door mat again this year, it held up really well last year! I pulled some other cute ones for you as well, all linked below! Cameron’s precious nightgown is from Sweet Honey Clothing, they have the CUTEST Christmas pajamas!

I got these two outdoor trees from At Home last year for 80% off, and they are perfect for the front door! The pre-lit garland is from Big Lots, and it is all on a timer, life changing trust me. We use this timer outdoors. The wreath is from Hobby Lobby!

I got this garland from TJ Maxx, and I just added some battery powered lights that are also on a timer. Efficiency at it’s finest.

I have these pillows by the front door, also from TJ Maxx (the best!!). I will give you one guess how long those slippers stay lined up like that with a shoe crazed toddler on the loose. Cameron’s wicker shoe basket is linked here! It came in a three pack, and they have been the best little catch alls.

I added this flocked tree from At Home this year, and kept it very simple. I love the way it turned out! I used birch sticks and lots of acorns as well for a more natural vibe. The presents under the tree are from Hobby Lobby! This tree is close, and it is on sale!

These little black and white buffalo check ornaments are from Big Lots, and the Snowbabies (who remembers snow babies?!) are from my childhood. I always loved them, still do!

These little trees are from Target, with the exception of the one on the far right, it came from Big Lots!

Tim asked me why we had three trees in one room, to which I reminded him, best to mind your own business.

I wish I could remember where this little guy came from. I believe he use to live at TJ Maxx! The candle sticks are a thrift find from years ago but they match our everyday china.

I swear we have two bar stools, but Cameron runs off with them, literally pushes them into different rooms, so there is no telling where the other stool is. But that is beside the point. The point is, I have salt and pepper shakers for each holiday, but these little pugs might be my fav! Sadly I have no link for them, I think they were a gift!

Now this adorable nativity scene may be my favorite addition to this years Christmas things. Isn’t it so cute? Cameron’s toy nativity scene sits on the fireplace, but this one is mama’s fancy one.

Speaking of the little Cameron Cherub, I had to decorate her room too of course! I found these little pink wire brush trees at Hobby Lobby and the gold one is from Target!

I have been loving the little vintage ceramic light up trees as well, and I am so happy they are making a comeback. They remind me of my great Aunt, she use to have them everywhere!

Cameron’s pink tree came from Big Lots! It is flocked but surprisingly hasn’t made that big of a mess, even when she tries to pull off all the ornaments! The ornaments are all from Big Lots and Hobby Lobby! The bows are from Big Lots, and the flowers, ballerinas and macaroons are from Hobby Lobby!

And last, but certainly not least, if you have not gotten all of your trees on smart plugs so you can just say “Alexa, let there be light” you best get to doing that. Life changing I tell you!

I am doing a little video tour on Reels on instagram, so make sure you check that out too! I linked everything I could within the post and also below, but if there is something non Christmas related that you want to know the source, just leave a comment or message me on Instagram!

Now get to decorating, it’s the best time of the year!

Beautiful home! I got a pink ceramic tree for my office and it reminds me of my childhood! We had one growing up as well. 🙂
