I just been bizzay, ya heard?
This weekend was opening weekend of Keeneland!
My friend Erin came down to stay with us from Columbus. Girlfrand had NEVER been to Keeneland, and sweet thang was overwhelmed with all the boys in ties. HA ha. It was like watching the Discovery Channel seeing her experience all the Southernness.
We welcomed her appropro, with Bourbon and other of the Kentucky like 😉
I even poofed her to which she responded: “I haven’t seen this much hairspray since my 7th grade dance!”
Haha. LOVE her heart.
We had SO much fun. Friday night we took her downtown to Bluegrass Tavern, and Wildcat Saloon.
We had enough fun for the entire bar I do believe.

Saturday morning, we got up bright and early and fed Erin her first Chic-fil-A breakfast. You are welcome E.
Then off to Keeneleand we went… with 24 oz roadies. Don’t judge.
Color me PINK when I was surprised in the port-a-potty line by an appearance from my bloggy friend Jen! Jen and I were trying to meet up, and it magically happened. It was perfect!
Can we discuss how precious her baby girl Carsyn is? Umm… I wanted to kidnap her and never give her back! You hear that Carsyn? You come see your Auntie PLL again soon!

In other news of what the heck I have been up to, I have been crazy busy post-move, getting the house in order. I took last Friday off to unpack and get organized, and I STILL have nothing on the walls.
For those of you curious, Chrissy and I moved in with Brian- aka Jack Tripper.
Of course I got stuck being Janet.
If this isn’t evidence I should never go dark, I don’t know WHAT is.

Don't feel bad about having nothing on your walls. We've been in our house just over 2 years and it took the impending birth of our baby (any day now!) to get us to make a serious effort at decorating.

Oh my gosh, I saw your photos on FB and flipped out over your shirt. Then I walk into Target today at lunch and spot it, however I want the color you have and they didn't have in my size so I bought a print but will stop at another Target closer in to see if I can switch it out for the mustard color. p.s. Can we discuss how I'm having a semi-nervous breakdown thanks to the move. My mom and brother rented a 10 ft UHaul yesterday and packed it to the max while I was at work to move the rest of my stuff. YES. EVEN AFTER WE HAD MOVERS aka the Beast. I'm editing my life because I own way too much shiz. That is all. I need to see a therapist over this move and that is not normal.

Where did you get your dress for Keeneland? It is adorable!
I've never been to Keeneland…in the Richmond area, the closest thing we have here is Strawberry Hill, and I've only been once, and it poured for the first like two hours and was horrible and muddy after that!
