I am always on the hunt to find similar products to the ones that I love, but for a much friendlier price tag. I LOVE Benefit’s high beam (highlighting is my fav) but have not been able to find a product that offers the same iridescent shimmer that High Beam does. Most products I have tried (on the cheap) have been way to frosty pink, a la Cher Horowitz.
In one more attempt to find an acceptable knock off of the High Beam, I gave the NYX liquid illuminator a try, and imagine my delight when I discovered that it is spot on!!
I picked it up at Ulta for about $7. I use it on any place I want to add some highlight to, mainly top of cheek bones, sometimes a bit on the nose, anything you want to do. It just gives you such a pretty glow, I love it, both products! But the NYX one is $7 compared to the High Beam’s $26. Not the end of the world, but hey $20 is twenty dollars people!

Tip: I use a foundation brush like this one to just gently pat and blend the highlighter on my cheek bones
But fingers work too. Whatever you feel like at the time 😉
