Sooo…excuse the absence this week. Apparently I have a swollen parotid gland in my face, AGAIN. It is so painful and nothing is helping. I have been to the oral surgeon twice, and have another appointment Monday. My face is the size of a cabbage patch kid. I am on antibiotics and now steroids also to try and help with the swelling. Have you all ever heard of such a thing?? I hadn’t until recently, but apparently it is more common than I thought?
This is all just PERFECT timing considering I am filming for American Blogger this weekend! AHHHH! I have got to get this face to go down. I seriously look just like quasimodo. I know you want to see a pic of my face… and I just can’t. It’s too terrifying.
Luckily, Sadie is nursing me back to health.
The only thing I have done in the past three days that is semi productive, was to get these curtains hung in my closet
and I also bought this Kensie dress at Macy’s today, for 70% off!
but that is it. It has been soup, ice cream, and HGTV for this chic. I swear all I want is a salad, but that would be impossible currently.
I hope everyone who is non-chipmunk cheeked is enjoying their Fourth of July!! I am praying to be better by Saturday!!! Regardless of the fat face, I am SO excited for American Blogger filming, and to show off little Lexington!!

This seriously makes me feel so much better! I have a chronic health condition that OF COURSE reared it's ugly head today on the day i had fabulous plans. So i'm stuck at home feeling sorry for myself. Makes me feel better than even the Fabulous Pink LouLou is puny tonight, and staying in.
I don't know if you will see this, but I had a patient that had the same thing recently and something that helped with her was sucking on sour candy or just drops of lemon juice in to your mouth.

Bless your heart! I hate that. I just got a PICC line inserted in my neck/chest today, we can be bums together. It hurts to move my nekc! I hope you feel better soon!
