I was going to show you my bedroom, and my makeup table updates today but that is going to wait because it is not completely finished yet, and I want you to see le boudoir de LouLou in it’s entirety.
So let’s chat makeup brushes instead.
I asked Santa for the Sigma Synthetic Kabuki set here, and he delivered!
I LOVE them. Obsessed.
The F80 is for all over surface application, and the F86 is for areas around your nose, and eyes. I pump a little foundation on the top of my hand (right now my favorites are Makeup Forever Matte Velvet in 27, and Mac Studio Fix Fluid in NW 25) then dab it on my face and blend it in by stippling it all over with the F80, using the F86 for nose and eye areas. Don’t worry, I had to google stipple too at first, ha but it is a great technique I learned a little while ago for flawless foundation.
These brushes seriously make your skin look like it is airbrushed. I kid you not ma ladies. I previously used the elf stipple brush, and it worked pretty well, but I love that the Sigma ones are dense, I find it gives you a lot more control.
They also fit perfectly inside my Trish McEvoy makeup planner, which my friends make fun of to no end. They call it my rolodex. Seriously girls, back up of it 😉 you know you want one too! haha.
That’s my flawless foundation tip for the day. Get these brushes immed!

i've been eyeing the sigma brushes for-ever! i just haven't made the plunge. i can't decide which ones i want first!
Stippling brushes are great. I use MACs stippling brush, but I'm kinda disappointed by the size; it's a little too small. Love what you got!
I have to be honest, the stippling technique scares me a little! I use powder mineral foundation but if I ever made the switch back to liquid foundation I would definitely try it out. My skin tends to be on the oily side and using a powder seems to be the only thing that works!
Aaaaaaaaaand now I want these brushes really bad!

Love Sigma! My fave is the F50 duo fibre.
I'm thinking about changing foundations (I've been a Bare Minerals girl for a while) so I might have to try this technique. I love an airbrushed look!

I have lots of Sigma brushes loves them. I just got the Mrs. Bunny collection…sooo stink-in soft! I think you should so get into doing YouTube videos. I think you would be good at it and who knows I think you could easily be a guru. Hey people make BIG money doing those videos AND you can hook up with Sigma. I've just seen some you've done and I think you would ROCK it!! 🙂

We have Ulta 40 min to the west and Sephora 40 min to the east. I can't take the hubs in either. He'd have a stroke if he saw the prices. He told me he'd draw me a map to Wal-Mart.

I got the planner for Christmas as well! I LOVE it. Except when I went through security at the airport, apparently the metal part in the middle looked like a knife and it was this big dramatic deal.
Girl – you know I love me a stipple brush but this tapered synthetic is news to me! I need one stat. My wallet does NOT thank you.
I have the F80, F82, and F84.
I don't like the F80 at all, but I have really dry skin and it seems to kick up flakes. Barf.
Love the F82 for cream blush, and the F84 for my foundation.
Now, I have to order the F86 to give it a try!

Oo I have been eyeing Sigma brushes for a while now – my brushes are in dire need of replacement and I may have to make the plunge!
Uhmmmm yeah, yeah, LOVE the brushes and what not, but could you PLEASE show us your room and new decor? I am currently trying to redo my budoir annd how am I supposed to mimic your style and all that when you're not delivering. Kay love you,mean it. Obviously.
