LouLou been slackin!
A lot has been going on, engagement parties, weddings, MOVING and birthdays, oh LAWWWD.
Friday night we had an engagement party for my friends Brad and Nicole. So fun! And yes, her ring be blingin 😉
I also found it necessary to run a poof party in the bathroom. Please don’t mind my demon eyes. Or serious need for sunlight.
Saturday we had a wedding for my friends Maggie and Adam. What did we do all day before the wedding? Well we went to the Makers Mark distillery of course.
So Kentucky of us am I right?
We dipped our own bottles of bourbon. Chrissy and I were excellent at this, might I add. I’m thinking this could be a part time gig no? Anyways…
After we became Bourbon Ambassadors, we went to watch the Cats play… which was less than thrilling. I chose to focus my efforts and attention on a pitcher of Blue Moon.
Please also notice that for some reason, we decided it would be hysterical to put earrings on Caroline’s hubs, like the boys use to do circa 2000.

I sported my new Marley Lilly scarf of course 😉
Then came wedding time. Dance dance, drink, dance… photobooth?? I am pretty sure I spent half the night in said photobooth.

Then came my birthday!! Thank you to EVERYONE who wished me a Happy Birthday and helped make it so special!
I went shopping with Chrissy, and then we had girls dinner at Saul Good, and it was just perfect. I am so so SO blessed to have the amazing girlfriends I have! There were about 12 of us, and I am pretty sure we shut the place down on a Monday night!
And lastly, I find it important to update you all on the emotional status of my dog.
Since the move she has been a little upset. I am not sure if it is the new surroundings, or the lack of a fenced back yard or what but she has been pouting.
See.
In attempts to make her feel better, I bought her this glorious cloak. It made her a tiny bit happier.
More to come soon on the new casa (and pics!)… but right now, it is a disaster.

Would you believe I STILL have not been to Makers?! Hubby and I need to make a Saturday of it soon! I think this fall is the perfect time! Love all your pix (and dang for Nicole! BLING! I'd take that baby off before I stepped on any scales, hehe)

My dogs want nothing to do with me during the day. As soon as my husband comes home they run begging him for attention as though I've been neglecting them. They're terrors.

I don't have poof parties, but I do this weird twisty faux side braid thing with my hair and everyone wants me to replicate it on them. We have had many parties in the bathroom of places. Especially when someone's hair is getting frizzy and they want a quick fix!
I LOVE that everyone in your picture is wearing a scarf. It's that time of year again. It was chilly this morning when I left for work, so I put one on and by noon I could have been outside in shorts! Gotta love South Carolina weather!
