I pulled together some of Cameron’s favorite things that would be excellent stocker stuffers for your toddler! I love this hat and these shoes, such great staple pieces! The hat is just adorable, and the shoes are easy to get on and off. This is her beloved lovey, I actually just ordered another one for […]

Ahh the babies. What to get the babies, always a popular question. This year we have had a lot of fun picking out things we think Cameron will like, that will also entertain her so mama can get at least…3 minutes of something (anything) done. The great thing about toddlers is they really don’t care […]

No spam. No fluff. Just the good stuff.
Urban Decay Primer Potion is one of my absolute must haves, but that store is definitely like crack. I feel like I need everything! And everything costs $20-$40 each *sigh*
I didn't end up having any green beer either, but for the first time in over 3 years, I was green the next morning 🙁
I also appreciate being a 20 something without kids. There's definitely no rush here!
Buxom lip gloss is my faaaavorite! And they have SO many awesome colors to choose from! I don't think I've tried Bunny yet!
Glad you had such a fun weekend with friends! The St. Patrick's Day attire is hilarious! 🙂
I really, truly believe that I could live in Sephora. Good picks!
What color could you compare MUFE mat velvet plus in 30 to?? I'm trying to order it online and i'm not sure if i should go with the 30 or 40… any help would be much appreciated!!
also what are your thoughts on the powder? i want new face products NOW! hehe
Green beer kinda freaks me out too!! You are adorable, love the pictures… sounds like a fun weekend! 🙂
I had green beer for the first time this weekend, it wasn't too bad! Looks like y'all had a blast 🙂
I love the buxom glosses too! And I haven't tried the matte velvet plus yet, but it's on my list after I use up my current foundation!
And green beer kind of freaks me out too. yucky 😛
You had much better weather than we did. It was pouring, hailing, and downright freezing here. I looked in the bar mirror and was downright scared by what was happening on my head.
Looks like a fun weekend!! Can't wait to hear about the make-up…review soon?
LOVE the Mat Velvet foundation! Just wish I could find a good powder to keep me high-and-dry all day!
Obsessed with Sephora! That store always gets me in trouble. I go to get one thing & I leave with 5 haha. The buxom lip gloss is the best, I can't even tell you how many I have. Which color is your favorite?
I use that urban eye primer which is also amazing. Another one I like is the two faced "eye insurance." I use the nars blush as well but the bronze/blush duo one.
I've heard nothing but good things about makeup forever so I might have to try that next. I currently use Laura Mercier & like it but am always looking to try new brands 🙂 do you use the foundation & powder both on a daily basis?
I'm going to have to try some of that make-up. It's too cute. And love your St. Paddy's pics!
How did you leave sephora w such little stuff?! Haha! I go crazy in that store I tell myself I can't go in unless I actually have money to spend haha! Adorable st pattys pictures looks like a fun time! I'm having a giveaway on my blog, I think you'd like it!

Sephora is amazing and I think I keep them in business! Do you have the app on your phone? Well let me just tell you not to download it unless you plan on getting a bonus check at work to blow! haha
Down with green beer…just have an Irish car bomb instead!
Thanks for sharing what you picked up from Sephora. I'm always looking for new goodies to try!
I LOVE make up forever! I have the HD foundation, primer, and finishing powder. I've been wondering about the nars blush. Im thinking about getting some, because i just dropped my blush and it broke into a million pieces.
Have a great week
xoxo

Yep. Yep….I own all of those products except the first makeup forever product. I will admit Sephora is my weakness and I could live there. (Right next to the Benefit and Urban Decay…) 🙂
St Patty's weekend is definitely a good time to be baby free!
I have been wanting the NARS Orgasm blush for a long time, but hate spending that much money on blush. Maybe I'll have the hubs get it for me for Mother's Day! Speaking of being a mother… this was the first weekend that I kinda missed the freedom I had before baby. No green beer for me!
I feel like I have to go to Sephora tomorrow. I just got the Urban Decay Naked palette a few weeks ago & I think I need the Naked 2. I always sit and debate with the brushes but it hurts my little grinch heart to spend so much on one brush. I always feel like I need shopping rehab after I leave there.
Just found your blog and I love it!
I love going to Ulta (we don't have a Sephora here) and stocking up on makeup & fun stuff!
I don't get green beer either! Its like green ketchup! Just.Nasty.
Look forward to seeing more of your blog!
Have a great week!
Where is that UK dress from? I need.
I'm going to need a review on the Make Up Forever Matte… I have heard it's the best but I didnt like what I tried! Maybe Matte is better! You can dedicate a VLOG to it!
Sephora really is like crack!! You said it sister:) I used to wear Makeup Forver foundation…now you are making me miss it!! You're right about the green beer looking like swamp water…I did slug back 2 of them though – I'm so Irish I had to:)
NARS blush and UB primer are my two fav makeup items!!! LOVE LOVE!
Love the pics!! Looks like you guys had a blast 🙂 XOXO
You are so right, Sephora IS like crack. Thank goodness there isn't one nearby here in VA like there was in NY. I live off #1 and #6. Awesome picks! And love your St. Patty's Day fun. 🙂
Thanks for sharing! I hope you do share more sometime soon! I love your blog!!

Hello!
allisonjenks.com, I appreciate the care you put into this space—it really shows.
I recently published my ebooks and training videos on
https://www.hotelreceptionisttraining.com/
They feel like a rare find for anyone interested in hotel and management. These ebooks and videos have already been welcomed and found very useful by students in Russia, the USA, France, the UK, Australia, Spain, and Vietnam—helping learners and professionals strengthen their real hotel reception skills. I believe visitors and readers here might also find them practical and inspiring.
Unlike many resources that stay only on theory, this ebook and training video set is closely connected to today’s hotel business. It comes with full step-by-step training videos that guide learners through real front desk guest service situations—showing exactly how to welcome, assist, and serve hotel guests in a professional way. That’s what makes these materials special: they combine academic knowledge with real practice.
With respect to the owners of allisonjenks.com who keep this platform alive, I kindly ask to share this small contribution. For readers and visitors, these skills and interview tips can truly help anyone interested in becoming a hotel receptionist prepare with confidence and secure a good job at hotels and resorts worldwide. If found suitable, I’d be grateful for it to remain here so it can reach those who need it.
Why These Ebooks and Training Videos Are Special
They uniquely combine academic pathways such as a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a advanced hotel management course with very practical guidance on the front desk agent description. They also cover the hotel front desk receptionist job description, and detailed hotel front desk tasks.
The materials go further by explaining the reservation systems in hotels, check-in and check-out procedures, guest service handling, and practical guest service recovery—covering nearly every situation that arises in the daily business of hotel reception.
Beyond theory, my ebooks and training videos connect the academic side of hospitality management studies with the real-life practice of hotel front desk duties.
– For students and readers: they bridge classroom study with career preparation, showing how hotel management certificate programs link directly to front desk skills.
– For professionals and community visitors: they support career growth through interview tips for receptionist, with step-by-step interview questions for receptionist with answers. There’s also guidance on writing a strong receptionist description for resume.
As someone who has taught resort management for nearly 30 years, I rarely see materials that balance the academic foundation with the day-to-day hotel front desk job responsibilities so effectively. This training not only teaches but also simulates real hotel reception challenges—making it as close to on-the-job learning as possible, while still providing structured guidance.
I hope the owners of allisonjenks.com, and the readers/visitors of allisonjenks.com, will support my ebooks and training videos so more people can access the information and gain the essential skills needed to become a professional hotel receptionist in any hotel or resort worldwide.
Appreciate you and your community.
Hey there.

A valuable post with real takeaways—great job!
Just thought I’d share something that could benefit hotel owners and travel brands. We recently launched a super easy-to-use smart tourism chatbot designed especially for hospitality businesses looking to boost bookings, guest satisfaction, and 24/7 support—on autopilot.
It’s a lightweight plug-and-play hotel chatbot that installs in minutes—no tech skills needed. This tourism chatbot runs all day and night to answer FAQs, even connecting with CRM tools.
See full details and live demo here:
https://chatbotforleads.blogspot.com/2025/04/boost-bookings-and-guest-satisfaction.html
But here’s the best part: besides hotel and tourism, we also offer a full range of chatbot solutions that work beautifully on any website, in any industry, to generate leads in a simple, smart, and wonderful way—only $69 lifetime. No subscriptions. No tech headaches.
Use it as a lead gen chatbot—and test it out instantly on our blog.
With nearly 30 years of experience in business development, we built this tool to be one of the most practical options available for small businesses.
So if you’re ready to automate your site, or just want a chatbot that works—we’d love for you to check it out.
Hope it helps!
Greetings allisonjenks.com,
You’re providing such valuable content for your readers.
We assist website owners and bloggers to get qualified traffic and convert visitors into potential clients. Using the same method that reached you — posting targeted blog comments and contact form messages in your niche and location — our chatbot engages these visitors automatically to capture leads efficiently.
As a special offer, if you purchase our chatbot service (normally $69, now $49), simply tell us your website, and we will handle the comment and contact form service for you. We’ll create 1000 custom comments and messages to bring visitors interested in your niche and location — worldwide.
We provide chatbots for many niches: all-purpose bots, real estate, dental, education, hotels & tourism, bars, cafés, automotive, and more.
See the full system here: https://chatbotforleads.blogspot.com/ — it shows precisely how the traffic and lead generation works in action.
Thank you for your time, and I hope it helps you reach more potential clients.
