Well ladies, I am alive. It is Wednesday and I am just beginning to feel normal again.
For those of you who were not aware that my BFF Leah Bear become a Mrs. this past weekend, WHERE THE HECK HAVE YOU BEEN? 😉
Weddingpalooza is what I shall term the weekend, as it was THE most fun wedding EVER.
Hands down.
We started things Thursday with the CATS game, and they didn’t let up until late Sunday evening. Yes SUNDAY evening.
Friday we had the Bridesmaids luncheon…
1. Our adorable monogrammed towel wraps, from none other than lovely Marley Lilly
2. Our BEYOND precious mono bags from Pomegranate.
After our perfect luncheon at Dudleys, we were off to get our tootsies done at the nail salon.
Mimosas for all! WOOP WOOP!
Sidenote; can we discuss how adorable Leah looks?
Then came the rehearsal dinner…
1. NOT planned. Somehow half the bridesmaids showed up in coral.
2. The lovey birds during their toasts etc.
3. Fans. SO smart. It was flirtin’ with 100 degrees outside, and you KNOW Lou don’t get down with sweating.
4. The rehearsal dinner was at Jed’s parents. It was perfection. So “Father of the Bride” if you will.

Amazing right? Leah you were BEAUTIFUL, and Jed, you ain’t so bad yourself cutie pie! Without getting too sappy here, thanks to you both for letting me be a part of your special day. Best wedding I have ever been a part of (y’all know I been in umpteen of ’em!!) Love you both SO MUCH!!
Now one more thing from ‘professional bridesmaid LouLou’….
My advice? DO NOT leave the next morning for your honeymoon.
Leave the following day so you can have a post-wedding-day party at your friends parents McMansion and spend 8 hours in the hot tub, followed by a basement dance party!

that looks/sounds like the best wedding of the century. love the bridesmaids dresses. my roomie is getting married this weekend but i seriously doubt her wedding will top any of that, missy! and you look gorge in all your photos per the usual. can i transplant your face and hair onto mine?

I just about died reading this post. Like literally I was so giddy with excitement with each scroll of the mouse.
Let's recap.
1. Your hair was DEF not right Saturday AM! I had no idea that was possible. Your hair is ALWAYS perfection.
2. Carol popping in the reception pic, I see you and your faux braid.
3. YOU LOOK EFFING PHENOM IN THAT "after" the rats nest hair pic. LIKE BEYOND. Is that Carrie Underwood make-up tutorial face?
4. I really don't know that I've seen a more stunning bride. Loving the "mr. & mrs." pic. I believe I'll be pinning that to Pinterest.
5. I ALWAYS say that I WILL NOT BE LEAVING THE NEXT MORNING! Holy hangover hell to the no. I will have a brunch the next day with all my hungover friends and a hot tub party may be added to that agenda. I love that email he sent. wuahahaha.

Whoever is in front of you in the luncheon photo needs to learn the sorority girl squat for photos. I like that the song was timed perfectly for my read of the post. Looks like you had as much fun as ever.

First, I love your 9 dolla consignment dress 😉 Second…I'm sorry I never got to see you. Third…Leah was beautiful! When she stepped out with her dad my eyes filled up with tears! Their ceremony was so sweet, even my husband commented that he thought it was really cool the pastor had asked them "all that stuff" (his words) and incorporated it into the wedding. (Our church pastor was super old and did NOTHING extra or out of the ordinary.) He also says that if Leah buys Jed his own golf course he thinks they need to become friends, ha. So happy for them…couldn't be a sweeter couple.
On another note, the guy that was sitting beside me at the wedding? I know I recognize him from your blog at some point. I did NOT tell him that…haha 🙂
