Well girls, we survived! I spent the weekend with 7 of my closest girlfriends down in Emerald Isleβ¦ somewhere in one of those Carolina’s π
You might be asking yourself, what the heck is ADXOmega? Well, I am so glad you asked. As you should be clearly aware, I was an ADPi π well after college the UK ADPi girls and the UK Chi Omega girls joined forces for the greater good of the Lexington social scene, and ADXOmega was born.
Ha, yes we are that lame. Don’t you worry that we are all pushing 27β¦ errβ¦and 28 years old in this bunch. We still represent our sororities proudly.
We trucked it down to The Emerald Isle, which is in fact NOT 6 hours away, but more like 10. LouLou was not pleased when she found this out, but at least all 7 of us were together in a big ole suburban XL thingamajig. And LUCKILY we all had our own air vents, and Lou was kept at a lovely 68 degrees. (You don’t want to be in a car with me if I am hot, I assure you the amount of complaining is OOC)
Anyhoo, we had a crazy blast as usual and spent the long weekend soaking up sun and drinking skinny rita’s, wineβ¦ and a few BL’s. π

I would also like to note this is the night I got asked if I was in fact Carrie Underwood… and because we were in North Carolina, and I knew no one… I may have said yes. HAHAHA

So thought out are we. We split up in the grocery store in teams to each take on a task… I think you know which team I was on.

Ahhh, I love it! Looks like such a fun weekend! And I love the ADXO. Our group of girls should be called AKD – ADPi & Kappa Delta. I'll have to suggest that at our next outing. π The Blue Moon in the mason jar looks deeeeelish and the cases of BL have me droolin! Glad it was so much fun!

I'm still amazed that Emerald Isle was prepared for all you lovely ladies! My husband and his whole famn damily are heading to EI on Saturday (then I'll join them Thursday), sad it didn't coincide with your trip!
