Motherhood is hard, makeup doesn't have to be.
I simplify makeup for busy moms.

I had another post planned for today, but it didn’t feel right. I have been really sad all day, ever since this morning when my sister told me that a UK ADPi was killed in a tragic car accident last night. Her name was Meredith, and she is the same age as my baby sister. I never met her, but this has shaken me, and I just wanted to write.

I am so sad for Meredith, for her family and for her sisters at ADPi. I know you active girls don’t know any of us old ladies anymore, but we are praying for you-we are ADPi for life.

I remember when I was living in the Pi house, one of our sisters brothers was tragically killed defending our country. I remember how we rallied around her, and how much it effected each and every one of us. I know that you girls in the house are doing just that, loving on each other, and Meredith’s family.

Hug each other a little tighter, and be there for each other. I am just so sad for everyone involved, and for Meredith’s friends and family.

I will be praying.

  1. My heart goes out to you and your chapter. My senior year we lost a member to a car wreck. I can't even begin to describe the pain my sisters and i felt. when we lost Annie. It was 4 years ago today and it still hurts. My sisters and I never left each others side we would go to class and go back to being together. Annie's death brought us together in a way i never knew was possible. we've all graduated and still to this day these girls are my best friends and there is nothing I wouldn't do for them.

  2. Brooke says:

When I saw that she had passed, I wondered if you knew her. My nephew went to high school with her and he is just devastated. You never know when your last minute will be, so very, very tragic. Saying a prayer for you and the active ADPi babies. xoxo

  3. P!nky says:

So sorry to hear that. <3 and prayers to her family.

  4. Babygirl says:

I heard about this on the news, but I did not know she was an Adpi at UK. Breaks my heart, and I'll keep your active chapter and this sweet girls family in my prayers.

  6. Angi Solle says:

This is so sad! I just heard about this as well and have been thinking about them all. The bond of sisters like that is stronger than people think. They will rally again and get through it together!

  7. The power of sisterhood is like nothing else. We had a sister who was tragically killed a few years after graduation. The amount of GPhis that traveled from all over the country to be at her memorial service was overwhelming. Prayers to this sweet girl's family, friends, and sisters.

  8. Ashley says:

So sorry to hear this 🙁

  9. Bri says:

We had three KD sisters lose their life in a tragic car wreck in 2008. They were all three in a wedding and were on the way to back to our college. Someone ran them off of the road and never turned around. It was 5 years ago Monday. So sad!

  10. I'm so sorry to hear this sweets. Sending prayers 🙁

  12. Lindsay says:
