It’s been a weird week, and my mind is bouncing off the walls. Let’s discuss a few things shall we?
1. Carrie has been LOVING her some short blingy dresses, no?
For a second, I almost thought the dress she wore to the CMT Music Awards red carpet was the same one she performed in, but alas, I don’t believe it is. Close though. Very close…
I’ll tell ya what concerns me here, and it is the lack of a bountiful poof. Please don’t mistake me for giving C girl the side eye, but I guess I kind of am. She has been rocking this frizzier, flatter hair, and I simply won’t stand for it. Get it back to normal Carrie, I can’t have you with mediocre locks 😉
I did however LOVE her whole look here at the American Idol Finale a few weeks ago. I will have all of this please.
Her hair and legs were on POINT, and that dress is just killer.
2. I forgot to show you all my shoes from last weekend.

I am totally kidding, but I DID find some extremely close knock off’s at Off Brodway for like $30. SOLD.
3. Target dresses are my friend.
I have been wearing the bejeezus out of them.
4. Baby Lou is in NYC all summer!!
She is working up a guest post for us about her adventures, but here is a little clue about what she is up to!

5. Bedroom mission. I’m on it.
Well I haven’t done anything with my bedroom since last you last saw it, but I’ve been inspired by both of these pics to add some curtains to the wall behind my bed. I mean I already have pink silk curtains, a white fluffy bed, girly blingin’ accessories (pssh, please, I got those for days) so all I need to do is add some light and dark greys in the mix and voila. improvement.
OH and a padded headboard. I want one of those too.
6. I love my Scentsy warmer.
I got three new fragrances and I LOVE. I tend to like the clean smells so I got…
LOVVVE them all, but satin sheets is amazing. My room smells divine, don’t be jealous. 😉
7. My cousin’s baby Elise is HOME from the hospital!
Remember this little nugget when she was 1 lb 4 oz!?
Well she is home and just about the cutest thing I have ever seen! So happy for my cousin and her sweet little family. Cannot wait to meet her!
8. Let’s raise awareness.
I got the sweetest email from a reader Catherine, who is 17 and this past year was diagnosed with epilepsy. It has been a very scary time for her and her family, but she is doing well and asked that I share about the “Seize the Day” Epilepsy Walk in St. Louis June 16! I love Scentsy! I just order some Luna and I can't wait to melt it. I have Echo in my warmer right now. Yes, it is a mans scent but who doesn't like to smell a delicious man?? 🙂

Ok, I don't even know where to start commenting! a. Ive been following Elise's mommy's blog and it was soo good to read that she was coming home…she is just adorable!! b. Love Carrie Underwood, but due to no tv I hadn't seen the pictures. Her hair does look frizzy…maybe you need to give her some advice?? 🙂 c. I love the bedroom inspirations. I made my own headboard. Got some wood from Home depot, some foam and fabric from Joanns, and all you need is a staple gun 🙂

I have known Catherine since the day she was born. Her aunts and uncles on her mom's side of her family all babysat me. She is an amazing young woman and I cannot ever speak anything but kind words about her and her family. They have supported me throughout my life no questions asked. Carrie is absolutely gorgeous, but that frizzy hair you speak of is just awful. Most people fight it, don't do it on purpose! I have to admit, I liked the bling dresses, but they were too similar to wear both on the same night!
