Motherhood is hard, makeup doesn't have to be.
I simplify makeup for busy moms.

The side messy bun thingy… again.

Ok, so we have talked about this before, y’all know I love some day-two-messy-bun hair. Well here is a video I filmed forever ago with my entourage, but just recently edited for ya. I obvi need to work on my tutorial skills, for example actually showing you what I am doing haha. But hey, it is semi entertaining none the less, thanks to my co-stars.
Here is the video, and instructions are written out below 🙂 ENJOY! {ps look for Sadie!}
It’s simple ladies: (standard products I use here)
  1. Tease hair for the poof.
  2. Smooth poof and pull into pony tail. (Don’t pull all the way through, but kinda loop it around … ok if you don’t understand what I mean just watch this short clip again. It shows ya)
  3. Once hair is tied up, use bobby pins to pin hair to cover rubber band. The key here is messy girls, it is not suppose to be perfect, so just pin hairs where they look good. I generally tend to think the bigger the better.
  4. Fix front pieces. Sometimes I pin back, twist and pin back, side swoop it, you get the idea, just whatever you are feeling. You can also do little braids or whatever. Lots of different variations here, get creative. I also like to stick flowers, or cute little pins back by the bun, or up front near my bangs. Just go for it chics!
  5. Spray spray spray! Tresemme is your best friend.
I promise you, no one will even KNOW you didn’t wash your hair before work 😉
{extensions, what? oh girl. click HERE}
The messy side thingamajig is also super versatile, I mean you can easily go from pool… to a wedding!
Swear. See. 😉
And for this look here, that I showed you a sneak peek of the other day…
I just had day two hair, brushed it straight back loosely, spraying with hair spray to get that piecey, messy look, and then did my messy side bun as I normally do. The key here is loose, and let your hair fall how it wants to. It’s an effortlessly chic look if I do say so myself. 😉 and it seriously took me, about a minute. You can do it- trust.
Feel free to email me if you have questions, but hopefully I helped some?! This will quickly become  your go to, day two, hair do, promise!
xoxo
