Hi ladies! I know I know, I have been completely MIA but girlfrand been BUSY!
I promise a family feud update asap, but I am waiting on some pics from the production people.
In other recent news, this past weekend I went to Derby with my great friends Ashley, Scott and Billy!
The weather was GORGEOUS, and we had way too much. But what else is new, really.
I opted for a hat because I never get to wear one, but I loved both Ashley and Ellen’s fascinators. I just feel like a fascinator is normal for me, I mean let’s get serious, I wear headbands that big on the reg. HA 😉
{sidenote, can we discuss how cute Ashley and Scott are?? I will be in their wedding in THREE weeks!}
So my dress was Rachel Roy, from Macy’s. And the shoes were something like LuLu Townsend I think. I was skeptic about the hot pink at first, but I loved it! And I am straight up obsessed with the shoes. LOVE. And I swear they are comfy.
This mayyyyy or may not have been part of my inspiration. IONO kids… 😉
You know who else was lookin’ super fly? Big sissy. I mean stop it Jo, just stop being so hot. 😉
I also really wanted to see this girl, but I didn’t get to. Bogus. Lindsey, I was totally on the lookout for you, I would have had her take a pic for ya!

I grew up attending the parents' Derby parties along with Mint Juleps annually…but no 'real' Derby for me yet ;( Looks like so much fun!

I just went to a tea party bridal shower where we all looked like we were going to the Derby:) and wow did our appreciation and admiration grow for true southern woman! It's hard work and super hot in those hats but you all make it look effortless and great!!!

So so so jealous!! I have the Derby on my Bucket List and planned to go this year, but my brother got married on Saturday, so I was in Vegas. But we all watched the Derby from a gaming room at Hard Rock where we bet and everyone was screaming like mad people. I loved every minute. If I can pull it off next year, maybe I can meet you at Churchill DOwns! 🙂

The Derby is definitely on my Bucket List! I watched from my living room, but not near as much fun as dressing up and wearing adorable hats.
