Hola Senoritas.
Guess what came in today. My new stationary.
YESSS.
I designed them myself, and then had them printed by Vista Print, for like $30! They came super fast too.
A lot of you have asked recently what I use to write on my pics, how I design my blog etc. Most everything I do (including invites) I made in Indesign, which I use a lot for work, but am fortunate to also have at home (Thanks Aunt Lucy!!). I graduated with a degree in communications, but now work in print production, and do a LOT of our graphic design. I absolutely love it. I am SUCH a nerd at heart, and have taught myself almost everything through my handy pal google. HA! You would be surprised how much you can learn from just looking it up… it’s all out there, tutorials for days.
I work in the whole Adobe suite, using different programs for different things.
I got my signature font which you will see in all my pictures from this fab site I am sure you have heard of, Kevin and Amanda.
She has the BEST fonts. Just install on your computer, and you are good to go!
See… then I can just write until my little heart is content. Ha ha.
The Adobe programs are pretty pricey, so if you don’t have access to them, don’t you panic. There are tons of online photo editing sites out there. I made it my mission to find y’all the best one, and my favorite that I have found is Piklr editor. It highly mimics Photoshop, and you can easily have tons of the same perks!
I definitely recommend just getting in there and playing around with it. Also, there is a section of this site with frequently asked questions, and tutorials!
Happy photo editing sisters! Let me know if this helps!
xoxo
Love the stationary, it is so cute! I am in need of new stationary soon so I will definitely have to check this out!

Adorable stationary!
Love the stationary. Thanks for sharing about photo editing. I can't wait to try it out!
This is so weird that you posted this. Just last week I was looking at your stuff and thinking "How does she write over her photos like that in that cute font?!" Thank you! Also, I love that stationary! I just ordered my Christmas cards from Vistaprint and it was so cheap! Love them!
Love love the Adobe CS. I use it every.single.day. seriously! I have a degree in Public Relations and was trained in the adobe creative suite or desktop publishing as they fancily call it. and now work in ad design so I use it everyday at work. I am hoping to get it for my own computer for christmas
Thank you soooo much for posting this! I've been wondering how you do the writing over the pics… I've also been wondering how you got the tabs to the left of the page that take you to different places such as the hair and makeup how to's..

That stationary is so cute! Love that Miss Sadie B got featured on her momma's cards 😉 I have always wondered what the "PinkLouLou" font was (not the handwriting but the pretty cursive). Don't worry I wouldn't steal it for my bloggie 😉
So cute! I love your dog on them! 🙂

That stationary is so cute! 🙂
Thanks for the tip on the free photoshop-like tool! I've been wanting InDesign for a while, but that's out of my post-wedding budget. HAHA
I still can't get over how cute cute cute that stationery is!!! I have been dreaming of adding my little furbaby's face to some since you tweeted it!
PS Left an award for you on my blog! Hope you have a great day! 🙂
presh stationary and thanks for the Piklr info – I am slightly obsessed Adobe Creative Suite, but I only have it on my work computer (which means I take my work laptop home WAY too much).
my christmas wish is for an apple computer LOL. Mine is such a hunka junk. {not apple} and it dies..makes odd sounds, and just palin 'ol flat out shuts down on me some times… YAY! everything you want in your computer right? anyways. not investing any more into it. its time I move every over to a memory chip and peace out to greener computers!
Thank you SO much for the photo editing info!
Isn't Vistaprint the best. I love it! I use it for business cards, Christmas cards, etc.
Have a great day!
Your stationary is too cute!! I'll have to check out the font website- thanks for sharing!
I like that you are a graphic designer. My boyfriend is trying to find work in that industry, but is currently still in school. What business do you work for?
1) That stationary is beyond adorable! I love Sadie Belle poking up from the bottom 🙂
2) Kevin & Amanda have the best recipes too! So easy and GOOD!
3) Yes, I could play with photoshop tutorials for HOURS… addicting!!
I went to school for graphic design – but currently work in insurance? I need to get back into it but it took over my life. Perhaps one day! 🙂
Thanks for the great tips!! I'm a recent follower and think your blog is fabulous! Hope you are having a good week! 🙂 Carroll
It is also worth mentioning that you can buy the programs separately or as a suite. (I got the suite WAY back in the day when I was a graphic design major. When it was the original Creative Suite with GoLive for webediting.) You can also get discounts through a lot of jobs, for being a student, and an educator!
Forgot to say to check out HowAboutOrange.blogspot.com for freebee fonts and some design suggestions!
So I can download that for free and write cute things on my photos? Free? Or am I tired and confused?
Love the stationary! Thanks for the program tips. I've been thinking about looking for a good one to use.
Ok, so I went to my Target yesterday and there were tons oF the yellow spaghetti strap shirt you wore plus lots of other colors. If you want, you can mention that if people are still looking for them they can contact me and we can figure something out about them getting one. My email is sweetteaandstilettos@gmail.com or they can contact me through my blog hannahandbryan.blogspot.com
XOXO,
Hannah
What do you use to get your teeth so white?! They are gorgeous!!
