Alright friends, you are in for a treat of a story.
I have lots to share about Bachelorette-palooza in Chicago this past weekend, but this recent event that has occurred has taken priority.
Soooo…. I was stuck in an all day long training session off site from work today, when I got an email that there was a package for me at the office, but no one (including me) had any clue as to its contents. This was about noon, so I had to sit all day wondering what the mystery package was, and more importantly WHO this surprise was from. At one point my sister had me convinced that Carrie Underwood had sent me some goodies and asked me to be her BFF, but I thought that was slightly unlikely. 😉
After I got out of training I high tailed it over to the office to find out what was inside that box! There was no way I was waiting until tomorrow, I mean seriously I am the kind of girl that searchers for her Christmas presents, I was DYING to know what it was, and who it was from!
the box was HUGE! and filled with tons of black and white tissue paper. Exhibit A:
THEN, this gorgeous little gem was inside…
I had no idea what was going on, but I promise you I was NOT expecting what was inside.
And what was inside that beautiful little Lilly clutch…
Oh my word. I have never been so surprised by something so endearing, and so thoughtful. I just sat there for a minute taking it all in, so overwhelmed that someone would take the time to do something so sweet and romantic for little old MOI! Seriously straight out of a movie. I think I just squealed, looking around for anyone still in the office to show my present to, but alas I was alone. So i packed up my surprise and headed out the door. The whole way home I was just so overwhelmed by the uniqueness, and sincerity of this gift, that someone who doesn’t even know me would go to such a grand gesture to make me smile, and ask me out on a date! So so touching.
So now as I sit here watching the Bachelorette with my sisters, having a glass of wine, messy pony tail on top of my head in my glasses (HA, I know, a SIGHT) I am just so at a loss of what to do from here!
LittleLouLou thinks I should send him a card to work telling him to meet me at a baseball game, and that I will be the blonde waiting for him on the pitching mound. BabyLouLou thinks I should do something really classy, like tell him to meet me at the arcade at Gatti-town.
Clearly the sissies are kidding, and clearly I will not be doing either of these.
Mr.You know who you are– if you are reading, I would like to tell you to expect a call from Miss PinkLouLou in the very near future. You have made my day.
And to my secret little cupid LouLou readers who I feel confident had a hand in this, you are too sweet.
