I have a problem.
My name is LouLou, and I am a chronic polish changer.
I change my polish upwards of three times a week sometimes. I just can’t STAND having chips etc, and I am a commitment phob when it comes to choosing colors. I’ve gotten pretty savvy at the DIY mani. Exhibits A,B, C… alright and D below.

Anyways, the whole point of this post was to show you what I have deemed the perfect summer color.
Meet Essie, Cute as a button.
It is PERFECT for sun kissed skin and just makes me wanna hop on a plane to Naples STAT!
I also thoroughly enjoy it’s pairing with navy. How fun is that?!

Ahh your post made me feel so much better. I change my color once a week and I have to tell myself constantly "just wait a few more days" as motivation not to whip out the nail polish remover. Thanks for the color selection… it is going to be my next purchase!

Too funny that you post this because I have recently become obsessed with nail polish and changing it all the time! Summertime just makes me want to have pretty nails I suppose!

Essie polish is the best. I love 'Shore Thing' it's like a pretty blue
that headband is adorable and I love your bling a bling bling on your finger. I almost bought a fake diamond ring I saw at F21 for 3$ just so I could flash it quick to people and make believe I was engaged

I just bought a new shade today that I think will be great for the warm, sunny weather this weekend. Although my mani/pedi will not look anywhere NEAR as good as yours, I'm still excited about my new color. Happy weekend (a little early!)!
LOL me too! I hate having chips or "mess-ups". I haven't looked into the "Gelish" polish yet, but I want to! It's supposed to stay perfect for two weeks.
I hardly have time to paint my fingernails nowadays. With a toddler, I'm lucky if I get my toenails painted, but I think it's gross to wear open toe shoes w/o painted toes! When I was in high school, I used to paint my nails a different color every day.
P.S. Where did you get your headband/bow and ring in the last picture? So pretty and cute!
Oh, I say good for you for keeping up with your nails! I'm terrible at it (hate to admit that polish will sometimes stay on for months….until its all chipped away) I'm trying to get better but I'm pretty bad at doing my own nails.

Hi I'm Raven, and I have a chronic problem with biting my nails and scratching my nail polish off like 2.2 minutes after it's dry. (sad face)
and about that weave, thanks for letting me know! Love that use the real hair. If I was going to use them more often, I would get that, but since I'm only using it one time, for Miss B, I will prob get the cheapos.
Ok so did you totally laugh when I asked if you got yours from Sally Beauty Supply? When you told me that yours are real human hair, I pictured you saying, "the tradegy! loulou would never wear a fake weave" hahahaha!!

I love all of the colors!! Can you share some tips on DIY manis? I can never seem to paint them too perfectly, and the polish will peel off like the next day. What is your process and what products – bottom coat, top coat, etc – do you use? Thanks girlfriend!!
your manicures look fabulous! =) I wish my nails would keep short so pretty like yours do!! I grow mine out just a little but then the polish wears off from me being on the computer all day.

Love all your pretty polish colors. I am overdue for a mani-pedi and have plans to go Saturday morning first thing. I'll have to look for your fun Essie color before I go. Wish I could paint my nails as well as you do – they always come out looking all janky. It's manicures or nothing for me. Usually ends up being nothing. 🙂

I used to be a commitment phobe too when it came to polish, but now that I use Shellac I'm OBSESSED!! You should try it… NO chips and SHINY as can be for 2 weeks. Ughh-Maz-Ing!! <3 Plus the colors are amazing too!!

Thank you for introducing me to my new BFF color! Be glad you didn't do the gel thing. I've been TOOOOO busy to get my nails changed and polish taken off and they are three weeks old (embarassing).
I am just like that as well. I get so many compliments at the hospital. I have to tell you that I went on ebay and got a huge lot of nail polish 30 of them for $22.00 no joke. It's wonderful! I love your nail colors!

Your nails are fabulous! I've been a fan of DIY nails for years now. Plus, that means I can switch colors whenever I want, which is quite frequently! It'd be awesome if you could give us a little DIY mani tutorial!
