No this is not a hickey that I am trying to cover up with the curling iron burn excuse. This is the real thing and OMG I want to cry. Prepare yourselves to listen to me whine, I promise it hurts worse than it looks 🙁
You know what else is happening? This. Currently I am icing my neck with organic blueberries. Getting some strange looks from co-workers as usual, but hey that’s not new.
{please ignore my jank hair today, I try not to straighten it during the week. And also ignore the stellar lighting in here. New office countdown is T-minus one month away. CAN.NOT.WAIT}
Back to the subject at hand. I am now convinced that the curling iron was invented as the devil’s handiwork. I screamed out LOUD when I dropped it, causing my sis to think I was just really excited for Tuesday morning. False. It freaking HURT!

Anyways, in other news for those of you little UK hotties looking for an adorbs dress for next football season, go grab you one at that store in Fayette Mall, I think it’s called Alumni Hall? Anyways, how cute is this? I’ll take one thanks.
Also, I think we might need to have a talk with Sadie Belle. She’s been hitting the sauce a little too much ever since the chocolate debacle of two weeks ago. Is my dog depressed?

OMG, I have done that to myself too many times to count and holy mother of effff it hurts! The worst is the time I burned my forehead trying to get my bangs to correctly sway. Hurty, hurty, hurt!
And poor lil Sadie Belle, she looks hilarious! Perhaps she needs a few non green bean treats to make her smile?

omg!!! that curling iron burn!!! it looks like lips! lol… funny (or depressing) enough… i burnt myself yesterday with the curling iron… and i swear the curling irons are like 100 times hotter over here… there was no TINY burn mark… it seriously STUCK to my neck and ripped off a big circle of skin.. awful!!!!!!!

Oh no! Curling iron/straightener burns are the WORST! I once accidentally somehow clamped two of my fingers in my straightener… And have survived way more curling iron burns than I'd like to admit. 🙂

Ahh GIRL! That ish hurts BAD. I burnt my forehead once with the InStyler and it seriously BUBBLED! Keep aloe vera on it and your lucky its somewhere your hair can hide it, lol!!!

I've burned my neck with my curling iron more times that I would really like to admit. One time being one of the first times I met my boyfriend's mom. And it was on the more front part of my neck so I couldn't hide it and it DEFINITELY looked like a hickey. No amount of make-up covered it. Hang in there girl! Just keep your hair down and it will feel better in no time!

Girl I feel your pain. I remember back in September I burned myself. The worst part of it all was it was right smack in the center of my forehead. It hurt so bad. It even blistered :(. I had to hide it with my side swept bangs. I actually had to hold it in place with a bobby pin since it was so exaggerated lol. You are so gorgeous btw!
