Well ladies. I have put it off long enough, but I must Christmas shop tomorrow.
I am going to get up early, armed with reinforcements. My sissies, & diet coke.
While I am terrified of the fellow holiday shopper, and I cringe at the thought of packed parking lots, I do get excited about an all day shopping excursion outfit. Yeah I am one of those weirdo’s who buys clothes and says things like “this would be PERFECT for running errands all day!” No lie. I love nothing more than a casual, yet chic, shopping outfit. I don’t know why, but I guess I feel much more the part of the posh shopper when I am dressed to empress.
Tomorrow I have decided I will be outfitted in ma jeggings, tall boots and an assortment of brown/neutral colors. LOVE me some brown. I can’t get away from it… just says fall/winter to me in such a glorious way.
Here is my vision. And yes I have decided that casual, down, messy Carrie hair is the perfect look for said outfit. If I get tired of it I will simply pull into the poofymessybunthingy as referenced here. I am also thinking a nice smokey eye, NARS orgasm blush {duh} and my new favorite lipgloss which I purchased today during lunch!
I squeled when this came in today for Miss Sadie Belle. I am so excited I can’t stand it. Tomorrow I am taking her to get her hair and nails did at the groomer, and then I shall bequeath her this gift.
Bahahahaha.Oh girls I am looking forward to a holiday weekend! I plan to get ALL my Christmas shopping AND wrapping FINISHED. Yes that is right, I will NOT put it off this year.

You need a concierge service like we have at work. You tell them where you parked your car, they bring in all your gifts, wrap them and put them back in your trunk. It is wonderful!

I love this. I seriously thought I was the only one who planned out my shopping outfit the night before! However, I am still putting off my shopping… Soo bad, I know. I just have zero motivation to do it this year! By the way, those boots— to die for. I just ordered a black pair quite similar from Piperlime and can't wait til they get here! I was shocked at myself for already finishing my Christmas shopping before the week of Christmas this year. GO ME! 🙂 And I just have to say I share your love for casual comfy clothes. Over the knee boots and layers are my key pieces to any "trugging" outfit I have. Good luck with the shopping!
