One of my most favorite things, and my guilty pleasure, is buying perfume. I love it. I have always loved it. I remember when Tarryn and I use to be obsessed with Estee’ Lauder’s Pleasures, or Ralph Lauren’s Romance, or Clinique’s Happy back in 7th grade! Hysterical. We were twelve. I also remember requesting Calvin Klein CK1 for Christmas in sixth grade. Other things on my list? A purse backpack and some tennis shoes with heels. WHAT? please tell me someone else knows what I am talking about… come to think of it Tarryn gave me a pair of these! They were pink plaid and they were heeled tennis shoes. I swear. I could probably still find them in my parents basement in the dress up box that we STILL have.

But back to the subject at hand. Perfume. I love it, and I can’t get enough of it. I have perfumes for every season {a #1 choice and a #2 choice}, and I get super excited when it is time to reign in the next seasons perfume.

Before we get started on actual perfume’s, I want to talk about my most favorite scent. I have debated weather or not to tell you all about it for fear you will go out and buy up all the remaining bottles. So if you promise to leave me some I will share it with you.

My favorite {non designer-y, body spray} scent, is Magnolia Blossom from Bath and Body Works. {insert angles singing}. My little Mo Mo {pictured in my header!} got me hooked on this stuff years ago. Sadly, they discontinued this magical fragrance. After I got over the initial shock, I decided to take matters into my own hands and go find the darn stuff. Surely there were B&BW that still had bottles of the stuff right? I struck out all over Kentucky, but luckily there was a plethora of the stuff in Denver! It was on sale for two dollars a bottle, and I bought the entire store supply. I still have a large stockpile in my bathroom. However I always get nervous that I am going to run out. I wear this stuff everywhere, to work, to grab lunch, to the gym (when I go, ha) to the pool, keep a baby bottle in purse for those mornings you aren’t at your house but you just need a little spritz! *le sigh* the stuff is liquid gold.

Ok ok enough about Magnolia. On with the perfumes…since it is still summer, let’s start there. My favorite summer scents are…

Summer

1. Burberry Summer.

This perfume is so soft, and is reminiscent of Dolce and Gabanna’s light blue. I love it! Thanks Ashley for introducing me to this!

2. Issey Miyaki L’eau Dissey

My babies momma, Jo wears this a lot, and I love it too. Chrissy told me it smells like Elizabeth Arden’s Sunflowers, but it absolutely does NOT.

Fall

My most favorite time of year is the transition from summer to fall. I am a fall girl for sure. I was born in the fall, I want to get married in the fall, and I am pumped that fall is upon us! Coincidentally, my favorite perfumes are my fall perfumes!

1. Chanel Coco Mademoiselle

so classic. so fantastic. Coco Mademoiselle can take you from a football game, wearing jeans {with brand new socks} a college sweatshirt and tennies, to dinner at your boyfriends parents, wearing jeans heels an adorable sweater and your David Yurman {which I wish I had more of!}, to a little black dress and your hair up. It is hands down, my favorite. And the boys luuuuuv some coco girls. I would consider this my signature fall scent 😉

2. Armani Code

Good stuff. I wear this one more if I am going out on the town in the fall.

Winter

1. Vera Wang Glam Princess

Never mind that the bottle looks like perfume for a baby prostitute, this stuff smells great. Its a heavier scent, perfect for winter! I imagine being bundled up in an adorable pea coat wearing a scarf with my hair down and curled with some big hoop earrings. Walking around downtown streets or something, just popping in little stores, all adorned with Christmas lights!

2. Sexy Little Things Noir, from Vickies

Perhaps it is because I got this for Christmas one year, I don’t know, but I just love it. And how precious is this little bottle? Currently on display in my room because it just reminds me of a vintage dressing table or something.

Spring

1. Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue

Love it. So light. so fresh. mmmm I love it for spring when the weather is changing and you get to wear Easter egg colored things and you can finally eat outside on patios again!

2. Ed Hardy-Love and Luck {white bottle}

I love this. I get made fun of for wearing Ed Hardy, but hey its perfectly light and airy! Also has a little spice to it which I like.

So there you have it girls. There are a bunch of others I love as well, but I just decided to pick two per season so to not bore you all to death any more than I probably already have! ha. Also-I am a single girl supporting myself, I don’t make a whole ton of cash ha, so to support my perfume addiction do you know what I do? Ebay. You can get designer fragrances, wrapped up in the packaging, brand spanking new, for seriously like nothing. I got a big bottle of Burberry Summer a few months ago for… $19. Now that makes me, and my bank account, very happy.

Thierry Mugler’s Angel. I loved this for fall/winter but Lauren told me i smelled like her grandma, and bug spray. Hmph.

Euphoria-Calvin Klein. Brett (babies daddy) told me it smelled like that stuff hippies wear, what is it called? Patchouli or something?
