Fall Wreath Tutorial

Hola ladies. I wanted to get this up earlier today, but what are you gonna do.

This weekend I had mimosas and some craft time with sis {we had 40% off Michael’s coupons} and I decided it was time to welcome fall. Not only did I switch to my fall nail polish, but I also spritzed some Coco Mademoiselle (le fall scent) to really get me in the mood. I lit my hot maple toddy candle to pay homage to the season upon us, and got to hot gluing.

Here is the result.

I got my inspiration from pinterest, of course. Pin on left, mine on right. Different yes, but the idea is there right?? 😉 those berries add up yo.

I didn’t feel like waiting to order a fancier letter from etsy, so I just got an el cheapo standard one from Michaels. It works right? Everything else I also got from Michaels, and sis and I calculated we spent about $25 or so total on each wreath (she has one too!)

All you need is one of the wicker wreaths below, some wired berry garland of your choice (it comes in rolls, kind of-if that makes sense? Or you could use individual pieces of it but they are more expensive), a hot glue gun, and we used brown wired satin ribbon.

I totally should have taken pics of the process, but I wasn’t thinking anyone would be interested. Turns out, you are! haha.

I really had no idea what I was doing, I just placed the wired berries around the wreath, tucking them in here and there, adding hot glue where necessary. Once I got it looking pretty, I fluffed up the berries where I thought they needed it, tied a bow and hot glued it on, and hung it up. So easy. I just hung the letter down from the bow with the satin ribbon, and hot glued it in place to secure. Easy easy. And so much cheaper than buying the inspiration one I saw (which was $90!!)
