Hellllllo girls! TGIF am I RIGHT?
So… quick thoughts today. My lil V sent me a dress that pretty much mirrors the one I talked about on DON the other day (Jess, cover of Elle, circa 2005?)
Anyhoo, it is from LuLu’s ironically… pretty close huh?
Of course I found some other dresses that I needed to have. With so many weddings and functions this summer I have decided these need a home in LouLou’s closet as well. Speaking of, doesn’t that sound like a boutique? LouLou’s Closet. I sink so! (french accent)

ON to my next matter, I needz your help. I have this girl’s wedding…

Anyway I have her wedding this weekend and I have found the TOO PERFECT FOR WORDS dress for the occasion. You see everyone was asked to where a dash of pink to support the Susan G. Komen foundation (Dana’s momma is a survivor, cue Destiny’s Child) and so I found a perfectly PinkLouLou dress. Get excited.
Anyway, so I am having MAJAH issues, like what EVAH shall I do with my hair!?!? Bill Meck and I are about to fight because currently he is forecasting a ridiculous 92 degrees in this ever so lovely humid Kentucky June, and we all know LouLou tends to stay on the warm side. So of course, my main concern, is my hair. This sister is gonna be dancing outside all night, so I’m thinking we must do some sort of hair up option. Who better to turn to for hair advice? You guessed it.
Which one of these fab do’s shall I use as my inspiration? Background info you need is my dress is rose pink, empire waist, A-line, short, and has like a scoop neck.
Sidenote- It somewhat resembles the dress Carrie is wearing in her ‘Mama’ video…but anyways…

I personally like 2 or 3… with that being said you will look adorbs no matter what I am sure of it!!! HAVE SO MUCH FUN! Can't wait to see pics 😉 And can I get an AMEN for this heat?!!!!
I would go with numero 2. It is dressy enough and will stay out of your way when dancing it up.
3 for sure!! I did my hair like that for an outdoor event recently (like you I run a bit on the warm side). I stayed perfectly cool. My only issue was my bangs. I had to pin them back eventually. The southern humidity got the best of them.

i like 2 or 3, though i think 3 looks a bit more dressy… love them ALL though.

I pretty much always love Carrie's hair, but the first style I really love. I'm sure you'll look gorgeous however you do it. 🙂
I think 2 and 3 are super cute, but your hair is going to look amazing no matter what you do, because it ALWAYS looks amazing!

You are going to look UH-mazing in WHATEVER you wear. I think up for the hair is a better option especially if you'll be dancing the night away in the heat =)

I really like option 2, especially since you are a super pro at the poof! As a southern girl I know about that humidity and heat too and you're definitely going to want your hair off of your neck and back if you are dancing the night away outdoors. Can't wait to see what you choose!

Clearly they'd all be gorgeous on you but I think 2 or 3 would hold up best with heat and dancing.
I like #2! It's simple, but still elegant enough for a wedding!
I would definitely go with number 3. The last thing you need if it is hot and stinky is a pony tail sticking to you. Three is up off your neck and a little messy-chic that even if you shake it all night your hair will still look fabulous!

So number 1 I love, but It would be hot to have your hair on your neck in such high heat and humidity. I think 3 would be best. I like 2 as well, but it depends how hot you think you would be. Good luck with your decision! <3

ok about that hair. #2 and #3 I LOVE. If it's going to be 92 degree, hair down would be a disaster. and if I had to choose between 2 and 3, I would go with 2, I LOVE LOVE that poufy ponytail and side swept bangs. My jess simpson bump up the volume should be here next week and I cannot wait. I keep youtubing videos of it and it looks AMAZING. I CANNOT get a pouf to save my life, so I'm pretty excited about this. anyway, can't wait to see the pics!
