Hi girls! Busy week- but I wanted to take a moment to let my sweet sorority sister know that I am thinking about her and praying for her! Fortunately, she is OK, but unfortunately sweet girl’s apartment burned to the ground last night, and she has lost everything. I am still not sure of all the details, but I know that God was watching out for Kate and woke her up so she could get out of her third floor apartment safely.
And this is why I love my sorority sisters so much-
The first thing when I got to work this morning, I had emails and messages from sisters organizing plans to help Kate. We will be sending her surprise goodies to help her through this tough time. We truly are sisters for life, and I am tearing up just thinking about it.
Katey- I love you! I am thinking about you and I am SO thankful that you are OK! We will help get you through this!
Please pray for everyone effected by this fire, I am so happy that everyone is accounted for, and there were no casualties.

How scary! I'm glad she is safe though – truly an act of God. I rushed this year and unfortunately didn't get into any of Miami's sororities 🙁 I really loved the idea of this kind of sisterhood and wanted to be a part of such an amazing thing.

I was amazed how many seniors you guys had. By the time senior year rolled around, our numbers had dwindled drastically with so many other commitments and such.
So sad! I lost my childhood home to a fire when I was almost 15. You never forget. My prayers will be with the families affected — if there's anything I can do, let me know!
This makes me tear up and miss all of my sorority sisters! What a beautiful picture of true sisterhood, how I miss that SO much! I'm definitely going to be calling my girls today and reminding them of how much I love them.
