So this is funny. I got to work this morning and immediately had two ‘hey tell’s’ from girlfriends stating “Al, I just heard on the radio Carrie’s publicist said she is NOT pregnant, and that some Internet buzz had been going on”. Ha. oopsies. And check this article here. My favorite line? “It looks like an excited fan got a little keyboard happy and published these rumors”. BAHAHAHA. oops.
OK in all seriousness I know this article was not referring to ME, but you never know… Carrie does know my blog address 😉 Only because I pasted it ALL over the gift that I gave her. hehe.
Moving on, I recently decided that it is time to cut the crap and get in shape. I have been a good girl ALL week in regards eating and working out, and gosh darn it I am going to keep it up! I am only eating natural foods (very few packaged things) and keeping the cal count low. My goal is to work out 3-4 times a week, and only drink ONE diet coke a day. So far, so GOOD! My goal is 1-2 pounds a week, which is pretty standard and healthy right? I use to always do weight watchers and LOVE it, but decided to give this little plan of mine a go. We will see 😉
SO to keep me motivated, I have chosen a few things I will be purchasing myself when I get to my goal weight. Drum roll please…
The items I am currently LUSTING over, but are NOT allowed to buy until I reach my goal are:
This lust-worthy pair of Hudson jeans. I have been eyeing them for some time now, but decided what better motivation than for these beauts to me be my reward ?!
And secondly, I am wanting ALL three of these bathing suits. Isn’t Vickies the best? I have wanted the third suit for awhile, and actually promised it to myself last spring, HA, but never ordered it.
Anyways, I am outta here chics! This weekend I plan to tend to my injured eye (corneal abrasion, whole nother story that would just bore you), go shop shop at Sephora for ALL of your rec’s from the other day, and then the week of being a single mommy commences on Sunday. I have my babies all week, overnight, every night. Things should be interesting 😉

Those jeans are adorable! And I LOVE Vickies swimmies! I'm totally adictted, I buy at least one new one each year from Vickies. Love that third one! Come on summer!

I JUST posted about this very issue (healthy food/exercise/getting in shape for bathing suit season BEFORE May, haha!). I find that the hardest parts are: a) going out to eat (when I have social stuff), and b) I work two jobs so sometimes it's hard to fit exercise in), but otherwise I'm on top of it. I've been eating really well (today I had lunch with a former student, and I got 1/2 salad, 1/2 soup)–hoping to get some good workouts in over the weekend!

You crack me up! I seriously think sometimes you're reading my mind! Some tips I've found helpful: the MyFitnessPal app for the iphone helps me keep track of my calories and the Wii fit (although it's kind of me with it's 'oh' when you step on the board), keeps me advised of my progress!
