OK. girls with big girl jobs raise your hands?? I am not gonna lie, it took some serious adjustment for me after coming off the “nanny to the fabulous” lifestyle I was living, but hey we all have to do it right? I love my job, I really do. I work for a great company, I LOVE my boss, and I love the girls I work with. I mean seriously, you spend more time at work than you do with your family and friends. (This is a whole ‘nother point for another day, but for now the focus is office decor.) I mean seriously, if you are going to spend 40+ hours somewhere a week don’t you want to enjoy it, and like your surroundings?
Absolutely you do.
I am pretty sure when I walked in with a glue gun and grosgrain ribbon in hand the second day on the job those two and a half years ago, people stared. But hey, who is sittin’ pretty now in her posh little cubie? That’s right, LouLou is. And you know, slowly but surely, others started to beautify their work spaces as well.
So I thought today I would snap some pics for you of where I spend most of my time! My little cubie! I wrote this a week ago actually after work one day, but I have been so busy I haven’t been able to post it. I can’t stand to have a messy desk, and I promise (ask anyone!) most of the time, there is nothing out of place. I HATE clutter, and will literally hide it from myself if I have to. Anyway, enjoy!
PS I promise I have not been ignoring any of you! I have just been way busy, but I am not traveling this weekend- I plan to relax and respond to emails! haha. Love you all!

OM freaking G! I'm totally in awe of your workspace! It looks completely different from mine; that's for sure . . . I'm a teacher who is swamped by a bazillion papers to grade, "junk mail" that I get in my box, various files, etc., random sticky notes of kids' numbers . . . I am amazed by the order and sanity of your desk!
Can I tell you though that you have honestly inspired me to go into work tomorrow and organize my desk? Seriously! If I manage to do it, I will take pics for you. 🙂

Oh my LORDY, that is an amazing workspace!! You should see my teacher desk at school. It is always a DISASTER ZONE because I'd rather be teaching or planning than cleaning off my desk. You would be ashamed.

Haha I love that you brought a hot glue gun into work with you on the second day!
